You’ll see a lot of recognizable scenes in these trailers for In Winter, which is currently in production. It’s the next in the series of 10 million movies shot in Duluth.

In Winter follows the awakening of a young woman of humble circumstances as her life in a small northern town is transformed by the arrival of an older, wealthy stranger from the East. Directed by Alexander Palache Gutterman.

My husband is involved with this project, and as this past week of intense shooting unfolds, I am really looking forward to its release.  It is truly going to be an artistic experience.  Don't expect the usual lift bridge shots, but a look into both the grit and the hidden beauty of this town.  As quoted in the DNT (link below) the director has made Duluth one of the characters in the film.
