Prøve Gallery, Duluth’s newest space for emerging and contemporary art, is seeking to give emerging artists the opportunity to gain experience and exposure and further Duluth’s community involvement and interest in the arts.

Call for Art Under $100

All work should be priced under $100. There are no theme or media restrictions. Works can be hung on the wall, free standing, laying on the floor, suspended, etc.

Send submissions to richard @ provegallery.com or to 21 N. Lake Ave., Duluth MN 55802 with a self-addressed return envelope.

A complete entry will include contact information, a short bio, a statement for the piece(s), and five jpg or pdf images of the artist’s work. Submissions must be of finished work.

Submissions are due by Nov. 30, and selected artists will be notified by Dec. 3. If selected, work needs to be delivered by Wednesday, Dec. 12.
Gallery opening is Friday Dec. 14 and will run for two weeks.

Considerations:

– All work must be matted, framed, and/or ready to install upon delivery. Installation instruction must be included.
– Dimensions of Prøve Gallery are approximately 69 ft by 18 – 20 ft.
– Submitted work must not exceed 10′ x 10′ x 10′.
– All work must structurally sound and not present a danger to viewers as they enjoy our intimate gallery space.
