Our family is missing our 5-year-old male (not neutered), yellow lab named Riley. He ran from our house in the Arrowhead/Kenwood/Rice Lake area on 9/28/12. He didn’t have his collar on but is mirco-chipped. He is friendly and has a big/block head! Please help us find him. Our 2-year-old misses his buddy. If you have any information on him call/text Meghan or Cody at 651.238.1921 or 515.231.5562.
For more info and pictures see our ad on Craigslist under “lost & found” or “pets.”

If you were alive in the 2000s, then you were part of the international phenomenon knows as Bothomania, an uncontrollable urge to listen to Both. Unfortunately for many, this frenzy often resulted in the complete and total destruction of all physical materials associated with the band.
Flash forward to today (the future and present), where we have all shuffled off this physical coil and all things are made accessible though tubes aligned in series. Things including the three (3) studio albums (aka LPs aka CDs) that the band released before achieving a simultaneous state of burning out and fading away.
You can stream them (aka listen to them on your computing box/calculator) and download them (aka store them on your phone/game machine) for free (aka for no money or trade) here and here and here but not here.
Drive by the Last Place on Earth today and watch your tax money going up in smoke!
I have had it. On and off over the years that I have lived on 43rd Avenue East my childrens’ pumpkins have been stolen. The first year they were smashed against our sidewalk after they had been carved. Another year they were just stolen. Last year we rigged them to spray water if they were moved and put up a sign as such; they were not stolen. This year we thought we could thwart the person by buying 70-pound-plus-size pumpkins from my brother-in-law figuring it would be too much effort to get a car to steal them. Well, this morning I come outside and all five of our extra large pumpkins are gone.
The kids are devastated. They picked out these “Cindrella” pumpkins from their uncle in Wadena and were really excited to carve them. Who does this type of thing? I’m going to drive around Lakeside during lunch today and look for them. If you stole them, please bring them back. You made for some very sad children this morning.
Please tell me other people get lost hiking in that area…maybe I’m extra dumb, but this was my third time. A walk that was supposed to be about an hour turned into 2 hours and 38 minutes, and yes I counted. Wow — !!! Somehow I lost my trail on the way back and the return trail deviated really far into the wrong direction…I was very happy to see my car again…and I can walk OK today, amazingly. I must be in better shape than I thought. Next time I will bring a map!

Sunday afternoon, Sept. 30, someone entered Sacred Heart Studio while I was in the back office and made off with two items; a green Matchless DC 30 combo guitar amplifier and a red Fender PJ bass. I am posting a picture of a similar amp.
The theft has been reported to the police. If you have any information about these items please contact the Duluth police or call/text me at 218-390-4794. Thanks for any help.
