Graffiti in Duluth

I’m currently working on a small photography project, and was looking for tips on where to find spots with graffiti in Duluth, especially West Duluth.

There's a small amount of graffiti on the part of 40th Avenue West above the railroad tracks, which is closed now because it's washed out.

The graffiti art I photographed in the post that Paul linked to is located across the railroad tracks from the top of 57th Avenue West. Just follow 57th to the tracks, look slightly to your left, and you will see some cement pillars standing next to the tracks. Go into the woods behind those pillars and that's where the graffiti is.

I'm not sure of how safe it is in its post-flood condition, but there's also some good stuff underneath an abandoned bridge where Highland Street meets Skyline, Getchell, and Vinland. It's actually at the trailhead of that section of the Superior Hiking Trail. Park in the SHT lot, cross Skyline, and it's right in the woods. But like I said, be careful because I'm unaware of the conditions there right now.

I know this post is old, but I just want to say... under the bridge in Lincoln Park!

This is a hell of an old post, but, as a graffiti artist living in Duluth, I think we should start a petition to re-open the Graffiti Graveyard to the public. I have snuck in illegally, but I don't want to keep having to fear getting busted by the cops. Anyone with me?
