“Carless in Duluth” Teaser

Carless in Duluth is a short documentary showcasing people in Duluth who walk, bike, or take the bus instead of driving. Notice how easy it is to forget that pedestrians and bicyclists exist when the environment is designed only for cars.

Premiering this March at a local downtown independent cinema near you.

When I lived in Duluth (I moved away last August) I moved because of a job opportunity. They had to make special allowances for me because I didn't have my driver's license yet! As a young adult living in Duluth I never felt the need for one...I lived 2 blocks from the lakewalk, less than a block from the bus stop, and downtown was a 15 minute walk. Now that I live out in the boonies it's been a rude awakening. I felt like Duluth did pretty well as far as the bus system and acceptance of pedestrians. With how they cross the street downtown I'm surprised more of us don't/didn't get hit.
