Head of The Lakes Cornhole Tournament

What: From Wikipedia – Cornhole is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing cornhole bags (cotton duck bags filled with feed corn) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. These platforms are usually made with plywood or plastic and are often decorated. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a player reaches the score of 21.

When: Aug. 20
Where: Dodgies East End Tavern 2114 E. 5th St. Superior WI
Entry: limited to first 128 teams @ $40 per team double elimination format
Winnings: Cash for 1st and 2nd place. Fifty percent of entry fee money paid out to first and second place. If the field is full at 128 teams 1st place pays $2,000, second place $560.

This sounds a lot like the ever-popular Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival Holey Boards game/tourney concept, which is played with 3 holes in each of 2 wooden boards placed opposite of each other, and using giant washers. 
3 throws per player a turn. 
Also scores to 21 I believe.
Fun stuff. 
Just add liquor.
