This is pretty damn awesome! It'll definitely keep me occupied for a while.

Heads up though, the link to the Old Central Clock tower on the All 360s page is bad. Should change /duluth to /panos, I believe.

Thank you, that link is fixed. Also added the social media/email sharing button to the Clock Tower tour so people can share with thier friends from inside the tour.

Question

The idea is excellent, the map makes it easy to navigate... But the rest of the page looks like it was designed about 15 years ago.

I have to a agree it's not the best way to present the content. Being a one-man shop I had to create both websites from scratch on my own. Three years ago I didn't even know what HTML or CSS stood for. I spend so much time photographing I have not had a lot of time to work on the actual site layout. Maybe this winter I'll have some time to rework the presentation on the websites.

Jquery is where it's at as far as an easy-to-use website enhancer goes.

Have you checked out Photosynth by Microsoft?

Virtual Northland

Yes Photosynth has it purposes but it's not nearly as flexible as the software I use. The software we use allows for embedded video/3d audio/textfields and iphone/ipad support using html5. I don't think photosynth can do any of that; it's just spinning pictures.

Tea Party Express? I know it ussually works the other way, like when something or someone gets sponsored and then does something tackey and the sponsers hear about how they shouldn't sponser it and how people are going to buy their product.I will mix it up. I am not going to the site until the TeaPartyExpress sponsors are gone.

How people are NOT going to buy thier product.

Sorry man. I probably should not post anything political. I removed the link. I just happened to be in the area that day. I was still testing some things out and took the opportunity to photograph a crowd. I do not have a lot of local events covered so I was trying my best to show anything I had. I did not mean to offend anyone.

Wow. Now I feel bad. Thank you for the explaination, and it make sense. I am happy to support the site with or without the TeaPartyExpress logo and website.

Politics does rev people up but having looked at the site more I understood that it was just the event instead of some sort of advertisment.

Thank you again for responding.

Good to see you posted the 2009 Bluesfest photos. I had been wondering what the final product of what you were doing with the funky tripod setup would look like.

What sort of lens do you use? I seem to recall you had a tripod head with a level built into it. Contact me if you might be interested in having some help in gathering photos. I might be game to assist.
