This promises to be a real fun show. Truman and His Trophy and Megagiant are both good upbeat pop-punk bands that will have you boppin' along, Ty Cobb is heavy hardcore with a lot of melodic touches, and if you don't know what Indulge is all about, you should probably show up and find out (Hint: bring junk food)
When you say heavy hardcore, what does that mean? Who can they be compared to? I am old-school punk (I remember when my friend Keith said "listen to this" in his parents van in 1978; it was 'Never Mind the Bollocks'). It became the soundtrack for my life.
I would say that Ty Cobb sounds like a mix of Converge, a gang fight, Pageninetynine, Neil Perry, and some dark southern groove. It's hard to say though. It's hard to hear what your own band sounds like to other ears.
If you've ever seen the local bands You Can't Hug Your Children With Nuclear Arms, No Wings to Speak Of, Bear Garden, Lament of Aporia, A Godless Arbitrator, Sports! or Books on Tape perform, you may have a glimpse into what they sound like (seeing as it's all former members of those bands).
