It's things like this that make Duluth great.
It's a wonderful city that should be a model for others.

...if only they would bring in some fresh music.

Well, get some of them Homegrowner's to volunteer an evening of music, one each week throughout summer.

Heck, it'd be cool to have music every night in summer from the park. Encouraging more family and neighbour(hood) activities - you know - back to the basics socializing (offline).

It'd be nice for young kids to see too, or aspiring up n coming new musicians.

For that matter, how about movies in Chester Park - like locally made indie movies, by anyone, or a compilation night, of different directors.

There is so much more that could be happening in that park on that stage. Even if musicians all showed up say wed nights n had acoustic jams, or sing-a-longs!

Aspiring comics or Slam Poets, fire twirlers, magicians, story tellers (or readers - like having a local celeb read aloud some book). Backgammon, chess, checkers, cards, cribbage, horseshoes, croquet(!), or game night. Nature walks, tennis tourneys, soccer games, flag football, canoeing/kayaking, Learn to press apples or stuff about gardening/composting/recycling, etc... (now expound on this by season and all categories you can imagine)

Duluth has all these parks, there could be so much more going on in each one - reviving them, and their neighbourhoods. And educating.

Activities and possibilities galore!

I concur zra.
