Sing! A Women’s Chorus with Sowah Mensah Wednesday, June 1, 7:00pm UMD Weber Music Hall $5.00

Yep, that’s right this concert is thanks to your tax dollars. I received a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council via the State of Minnesota to host Sowah Mensah and produce a concert. Seriously, I am grateful to be able to use this money. Some of it will go back to the state in the form of income taxes on myself and Sowah, but the rest is being used to entertain the community and give our chorus a really kickin’ opportunity to work with a first class musician.

Sing! is a women’s community chorus, we meet through Duluth Public Schools Community Education Program. This concert will have some folk-type music, a couple of originals, and music from Ghana, West Africa. I think we have a fairly unique sound and know how to show our audiences a good time.
