OMG. I love Sheryl Crow, I saw her perform at the Obama inauguration ball I snagged a ticket to in 2008. I'm so impressed with the calibre of performers coming through Duluth these days. Hope the scalpers don't snap up all the tickets for this one too!

Have we heard when Buble tickets go on sale yet?

Hey, don't judge.

The tickets aren't being sold by Ticketmaster, so amazingly locals will be able to get tickets instead of scalpers. (I wish everyone would dump Ticketmaster)

Tickets for this event are, to the best of my knowledge, going through Ticketmaster.

According to a news release from Jade Presents: "Tickets available at the DECC Auditorium box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, 800-745-3000 and ticketmaster.com or jadepresents.com."

Bad Cat, you may have read in another post on PDD that the DECC is dumping Ticketmaster when the contract is up. I've heard it will be another year before that contract is up.

Should this be cross-linked to other posts on PDD regarding Cougar sightings?

@jessige: Tickets for Michael Buble will go on sale, I believe, on April 1st. Hopefully that's not a joke.

OMG— I totally saw Greg Cougar Conley last weekend!

What do I win?

Just read on the Star-Tribune website that First Avenue is dropping Ticketmaster in lieu of "alternative ticketing agencies." This makes me happy.

Will the DECC reserve more tickets for locals or are we better off just trying to get them online at home? I may call the box office manager at the DECC to find out. Advice?

I think if you have a good internet connection you are better off getting tickets online.

"Good internet connection" has nothing to do with it.

That's right. Remember the EJ ticket fiasco? The gal with the super great Mac got tix so it's all about having the cool computer and not about connection speed.

Adam, I think you are wrong there, I have a super fast Internet connection, I've gotten tix to Springsteen *when he's playing in Jersey* and I got tix to EJ. Either I have the luck of the Irish or it's my great Internet connection.

If you know how Springsteen is revered in NJ, you'd appreciate that I actually got tix the same tour that sparked the hullaballoo about Ticketbastard re-selling tix on their affiliate within minutes of them going on sale.
