WDSE-WRPT shows its shorts! (films, that is) and the music of James Moors

Public TV, WDSE-WRPT, invites you to celebrate smart, original films; and the music of James Moors at its free outdoor local film event, Movies in the Park – Shorts!, Friday, Sept. 3 at 7pm in Leif Erickson Park.

The evening begins at 7pm with a performance by folk-songwriter James Moors and his soulful alternative-country sound.  At dusk, public television shows its shorts! WDSE-WRPT showcases local short films and a preview of a new season of Smart Films.

Smart Films rocks its third season with Free Range films by talented local artists on the big screen!  Films may range from First Mow and Pickles for Nickles, to The Old Clyde Road. The season premiere airs Saturday, Sept. 4 at 11pm.

WDSE-WRPT’s Movies in the Park – Shorts! is made possible by the support of the College of St. Scholastica and Twin Ports Outdoor Movies.

Movies in the park - Shorts! 
has been MOVED indoors to the Fitger's Complex. 

7 pm - Music of James Moors in the August Fitger Room. 
8 pm - Short Films in the Spirit of the North Theatre.

Come check out 80 minutes of talent by local filmmakers with over a dozen short films!
