On July 16-17 (6pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday) the American Cancer Society will be holding the 26^th annual Duluth Relay for Life at the College of St Scholastica.  Relay for Life is a team event that celebrates survivors, remembers those who have lost their battle, and fights back against the disease.  Proceeds from the event go to funding research, education, advocacy, and patient services.

Everyone is welcome. Come by and check out this amazing event!

Event highlights:

6pm Opening Ceremony
Food and drinks prepared by Relay Teams and local chefs

Silent Auction (6-9pm) items include: a Mall of America Platinum Package, an Edgewater Resort and Waterpark stay package, a Vista Fleet cruise, an Anytime Fitness membership, a Beading Class, as well as autographed posters and pictures for both the Timberwolves and Twins.  Looking for a gift?  Bid on the Apple I-Pod Nano, the Cookie Bouquet, Wine Creations Gift Certificate, or the art donated by local artists.

Performances: 7:30pm Elite Dance; 8:15-9:15pm, 2 Dug Nite; 11:30-12:30: Jessicak Myshack; 1:30-2:30 am, Renegade Comedy Theater Improv Group
