Tiny Belly?

Is anyone else tired enough of this ad to throw in a few bucks and pay the proprietors to get rid of it?

Honestly, the only ad I notice and/or click on is the Transistor.

Pretty sure the non-local ads are served up by Google and your surfing habits.

Doubt it, Adam. Pretty sure they are displayed per payment to PDD.

PDD admin care to chime in?

Adam is right. Sort of.

The non-local ads are displayed by Google. I'm not entirely sure about this, but I *think* they are based on keywords that Google finds in PDD's content. I don't think it has anything to do with your surfing habits.

The non-local ad is always the one on the bottom. Sometimes it manages to vaguely relate to the content of certain posts, but most of the time it doesn't.

I actually haven't seen the "Tiny Belly" ad. At least I don't think I have. But I suppose it will come up a lot more often now that we've made the phrase "tiny belly" part of PDD's content. So, look forward to that.

I haven't seen the Tiny Belly thing either, but I ad block a lot of stuff (I do leave the local ads up though because there is a remote chance something will rotate into those slots I'd be interested in)

That's right ... it *vaguely* relates to the post you're viewing. On the Hanabi post, for example, I often see an ad for a Japanese dating site.

I've never seen the "Tiny Belly" ad either. Being in Germany, my bottom ad (and no, I don't rent out advertising space on my ass) is always in German. Everything above that is local Duluth stuff.

Tiny belly has always been on my screen until this thread started...now she's gone...goofy, eh?

I think PDD put their best foot forward to connect ads to readership.

But, honestly the economic value of so-called side ads is very short lived. I can't think of the last time I've actually looked at an ad, even the pop-up javascript ones on other sites. So, I guess if you run a site that uses ads, use as many as you can and as quickly as you can, because the readership tends to develop blinders pretty darn fast.

Well, someone sure is seeing the Tiny Belly ad a lot, so not everyone's blinders are working so well.

I like the local ads and the trannysister hypelink.
