house seeker
My daughter is coming to town and going to school at UMD this January. She needs to find a place to rent. She's a country whippersnacker . Never lived in the big city . You 've seen those barrel races , some of the riders pull back on the reins, when she see's the corner she dives into it . She has an understanding of global Warming and many of the other ramifications of what's happening today. SHe told me she wanted a place that she could study. I would interpet that as that's what she needs, to do what she want's to do. She has a cowboy. She is paying her own way, coming in as a junior. She told me she had a goal , So I would interpet that as : being that she's a country girl , so we need to find her a place where she has internet access and has to chop wood and maybe she can have one of her horses . Now that the fantsy . She's going to do this herself, She gave me permission to ask about . She has no idea of rental prices , has got about 400 a month ,She's looking at a place on 3rd and third .Is that good.

3rd & 3rd: not so good.

But with only $400 a month to spend on rent, that's going to be tough to do in a really decent neighborhood. Does she have anyone she could room with? Could you secretly kick in a couple of hundred?

3rd and 3rd is a bit dodgy. I'm a female college student and have lived in that area before with no problem, but I'll admit it wouldn't be my first choice. I do know of someone looking for another roommate on 9th Ave E, $390/month. I also know of a barn near out near Hermantown that'd be a good place to board a horse. They charge $235/month, which is fair. The price could have gone up - the last time I had a horse there was earlier this year, in May. They're good folks and would get along well with your daughter.

Thanks for the returns . My daughter says she already bordered her horses back home and isn't bringing one. Barret you have my permission to release my e-mail to silly goose. We can figure out connections to talk.

I've got a great place and could use a third to split the rent... in the Hunter's Park area-- closer to UMD than third and 3rd. Newer house, safe neighborhood. Shoot me an email and I'll give you the specs.

we've got 2 spaces available in a quirky house on park point (we posted them a few weeks ago). does she like kids? a mama and her 7 year old princess live upstairs with the stunning view ($300/month). I live downstairs with my 5 year old dolly ($200/month). We'll be off traveling for 2 months and would love to have a lady here who knows how to build a fire (we've got a super cosy woodstove downstairs). interested?
